My Journey Toward Vitality And Fulfillment In 10K Steps Daily

I decided once and for all that I, my health, my body, and my life are worthy of my time and commitment.


THE SEQUENCE: MY MORNING WALK ROUTINE


1.UP & READY
I set myself up for success. Wake up at 6 am with my alarm, immediately change, have coffee, and get going (adjust accordingly for your routine). Do not negotiate with yourself, a decision is a decision. Get up and go.

2. MINDFULNESS
As I start my walk at a warm-up pace, I take deep breaths for 2 minutes while listing all the things I am grateful for. I immediately set my mind up for an empowering attitude.

3. FOCUS
As I pick up the pace, I start reflecting on the question:
What will I do today that I will be proud of tonight?

4. DOWNLOAD
Next, as I walk, I empty my mind. I use notes on my iPhone to jot down ideas, to-dos, inspirations, and a brain download for about 10 minutes (to be used later at my desk to organize my day).

5.GROWTH
Then, I listen to podcasts, online programs, and audiobooks. Expand my mind and my horizons by learning something new every day.

6. VISUALIZE
To finalize the morning walking routine, I mentally envision my day and plan it in a way that will take me steps closer to my goals and desires. I know that I am the one creating my life and each decision shapes my tomorrow.


Does It Work? The Habit That Changed My Life


This is What I Achieved by Following This 10k Steps Routine Daily:
I lost 10 pounds up until now. I feel more alive and full of energy. I live my life more purposefully. My creativity has expanded, and my inspiration and intuition have flourished again. I feel much more in tune with myself and my body. I know that decisions bring results. I have listened to several books and found amazingly enriching podcasts. My productivity has skyrocketed; my morning walk is one of the most productive (and favorite) times of my day now.

What was important for me to realize is that I do not have to have an either/or type of behavior in my life. By using what I now call ETS (Empty Time Space) I was able to supercharge this new activity to boost my daily productivity and fulfillment. How?
Embarking on a morning walking routine often stems from the desire to improve physical fitness and shed those extra pounds. By consistently walking each morning, I engaged in a low-impact exercise that gradually increased my stamina, toned my muscles, and promoted that much wanted weight loss.The gentle yet effective nature of walking makes it an ideal activity for beginners (Moi) and those with Gym allergies.
Finding time for myself had become increasingly challenging. Carving out a dedicated space each morning was transformative, not only for my physical well-being but also for my mental and emotional health.
A simple routine can unlock a world of benefits, helping you start each day with a renewed sense of purpose and vitality.
The beauty of walking lies in its simplicity and accessibility, you can start where you are and value the miracles of consistent improvement.
